The project involves replacing a legacy client server application using WPF,Visual C#, ADO.NET, Web Services and SQL Server 2005.      

Responsibilities 

1)  Detailed Design and development of the screens using WPF and C#

2)  Design and development of business objects for the middle tier.

3)  Creating custom controls using WPF. 

4)  Creation and deployment of Web Services accessible through HTTP and TCP/IP network. 

5)  Creation of tables, stored procedures and triggers in SQL Server 2005/ SQL Server 2008.

6)  Design of reusable, loosely coupled distributed components using Visual C#.

7)  Testing and code review of the application.    

 1)  5-7 years of experience in design and development of distributed applications using C#, & .NET environment. 

2)  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

3)  Product development experience is a plus. 

4)  Experience in developing WPF screens is desirable. 

5)  Working knowledge and understanding of design patterns is desirable. 

6)  Good working experience in SQL Server 2005 is required. 

7)  Working knowledge of Microsoft Reporting Services or Crystal Report is required.

8)  Strong understanding of ORM concepts, OOPS concepts and SOA concepts.
